‘Yi-Mo-Yien’ is a brand of cosmetics featuring ancient Chinese rouge and the ways to put it on. The package illustrations show culture of ancient Chinese ladies make-up and stories of rouge making. They were designed using modern style of illustrations with typical Colors of Tang Dynasty (a.d. 618 to 905), representing aesthetics of ancient Chinese ladies lifestyle and a Chinese proverb ‘a woman puts up her make-up only for her lover’.
